ARTS-BASED WELLBEING · SOUTH KOREA

Art as a way back to the living body.

SPACE MOUM explores how art, embodied knowledge and Korean philosophies of living can offer new ways to restore attention, connection and balance in contemporary life.

Through movement, sound, participatory practice and digital media, we translate these inquiries into experiences for people, institutions and communities.

01 / WHAT IS SPACE MOUM?

An arts and wellbeing practice from South Korea.

SPACE MOUM is a South Korea-based arts and wellbeing practice exploring how embodied artistic experience can support recovery, awareness and connection in contemporary life.

Rooted in Korean body culture, movement, sound and philosophies of yangsaeng, we translate embodied knowledge into contemporary experiences across education, public culture, organisations, hospitality and digital environments.

02 / OUR ORIGINS

Art is the origin.

Art is the origin. Wellbeing is one of its contemporary applications.

We begin with sensing, listening, moving and questioning. Korean body culture and philosophies of yangsaeng offer a relational view of body, environment and everyday life.
